7 SimpleHealthy Habits To Change Your Life – Goals for 2023
Have A Morning Routine
Our morning is our starting point & it is really important that we start our day with a bang.
If you are someone who wakes up literally dragging themselves out of bed, wait for someone to feed you- your morning cup of tea & coffee which you enjoy while scrolling through your social media.
You are literally setting yourself up for a crappy & unproductive day.
The movement you wake up in the morning is the movement you take charge of your life.
To make the most of the day – start your morning with a routine.
It can be as small as making your bed or watering your plant.
Do something that gives you a sense of accomplishment ( as small as it could be)
You just need to send your brain a signal that you have done something, you have accomplished a task & this signal will be the power booster for your whole day.
Spend at least 10-15 minutes with yourself
we all have busy lives – we need to go to school, or college, report at work, need to grab a train, bus, or taxi, or have to go live, upload videos, and post articles…in short, we are fully packed with work.
And when we have this kind of schedule it is very easy to bury ourselves with these tasks & forget about ourselves.
And that my friend isn’t right…
If you want to live a better life then make sure you spend at least 10-15 minutes with yourself.
That needs to be just yourself – not 10-15 minutes in front of the tv, laptop-binging Netflix... Nope.
Just you – have a cup of coffee, listen to music, meditate, just take in nature, go for a walk or just lie on your bed & watch the ceiling… anything.
enjoy your own company –
trust me this is a powerful productivity hack that is widely neglected…
This is exactly when I get almost all my ideas – topics for new blog posts, ideas for new projects, plans that will make my family happy, etc.
Just 15 minutes for yourself & this will remove everything unwanted from your head & fill it with ideas, positive thoughts, etc
To get the maximum results you can have a small notebook at hand so that you can write down whatever comes to your mind.
It doesn’t have to be anything concrete – just write down everything that is going on in your life…
Any confusion, negative feelings, ideas that you want to pursue, the thing you wanna do, thoughts you wanna share.
Write down everything & take the load off your mind.
Once you have everything written down your brain stops trying to remind you of those things,
Remember the brain is for producing ideas & thoughts – not storing them
The moment you write it down, your brain is free from the task to remind you of those things & it takes way too much load off your brain
And this is a stress buster that is highly underrated.
Here is a notebook that I always have with me
it helps me a lot, it is small & easy to carry around.
You can check it out if you want
Exercise Regularly
nowadays most of us spend our time sitting in front of the laptop.so, it is really important to take care of our physical health.
Right now exercise should be one of your top priorities to keep yourself healthy.
I’m not saying that you need to join a gym & do a hardcore 1-2 hr workout until you sweat like a hell…you can do it but that is not what I’m saying.
Here the exercise I’m talking about is just 15-20 minutes of physical exercise that will help you to get your adrenaline running.
gives your body a change from sitting & helps it to stretch & strengthen
It can be as simple as just walking, running…
If you are an indoor person you can try skipping, yoga, acrobats, Zumba, dancing, treadmill, indoor bicycle, or some exercises like jumper jack, squats, etc…’
There are many tutorials, just search for the best exercise for beginners on youtube & start rolling.
I usually do a 10 minutes workout of squats, jumper jacks, planks &some core exercises to strengthen my gut then I do a 15 mins dance routine ( I love freestyle & contemporary So that is my happy place ) & 15 mins of cycling ( i do cycling & dancing on alternate days)
You could do what suits you best. but do include any kind of exercise in your daily life.
If you don’t know what to do at all, I’m sure you might have stairs just run up & down 2-3 times (perfect for beginners)
It will be a good cardio
Eat Healthy
Nowadays when we have the luxury that anything we like is delivered to our doorsteps, it kinda becomes hard to eat right.
Anything we like from pizza to palak panner, Chinese to butter chicken anything we want we can get within minutes & even if we don’t order or take out, we instead prefer to munch on chips & junk food than eat a healthy nutrition rich food (I do it too )
But the thing is….this isn’t right
Of course, you can’t just stop altogether but at least try as much as possible to include healthy food in your diet.
As they say, you are what you eat.
So try to limit the intake of junk food & rather optin for fruits, salads & anything else you like but make sure it is healthy & fits you right.
Ik there are supplements & protein shakes that claim to be best for you but what I feel is, it is better to get them from the natural source itself.
Please include at least 1 fruit, and 1 green leafy vegetable in your daily meal, and rather than munching on chips try eating dry fruits or my favorite Makhana
Just add a bit of ghee & some salt, chilly powder & roast makhana in it. trust me it is way better & tasty than any chips you like
Read at least 20 Pages A Day
Reading is a form of exercise for your brain & we already established that exercise is way too important to ignore.
There is no limit to learning & with access to the vast amount of knowledge we have at just our fingertips this is an exercise that you can’t miss.
Reading is absolutely important for your mental health, peace & personal growth.
I love reading – whenever I’m free I prefer reading a book to scrolling social media.
Whenever I’m free you’ll see me with either a book or a kindle.
I make sure that I read at least 1 book a week, Ik I said I’ll share my reading here but as you know I’m lazy AF & when I read I just go with the flow so it kinda becomes hard to journal it here
But I’ll try to get to it as soon as possible…
right now I’m reading a book called Make Time
As I said, I’m completely booked & trying really hard to manage time & this book has been a blessing to me.
Anyway, you can read any genre you want – from self-development to personal growth, novels, poetry, science, documentaries, or even fiction books but do read.
Not only this habit helps you to be more productive & focused, but there is so much you can get from books & not to forget…
Reading can be an escape from the reality of stressful hard life… when you read, it becomes a happy place for your brain.
Your brain takes a break from the negativity, responsibility & stress you have in your life. it can be a breather for your brain

Invest In Yourself
This comes relatively close to what I said above & that is to invest in yourself.
make time to learn a new skill, understand new things
Gone are the days when you’ll learn one skill, get a job & then you are settled for life.
It doesn’t work like that anymore… Technology is growing insanely fast.
Not only software but people are updating fast as well & if you want to be in the race you need to update yourself.
You can no longer have excuses that you can’t learn anything because with the technology we have, you can practically learn anything
If you want to survive in the current world, you need to have different skill sets
For example,
if you want to grow your career, email marketing is a skill that you could never go wrong with

& how can we forget the biggest online learning platform right now which is YouTube?
You can practically learn anything from youtube right now in fact as per the information, Google is tying up with a dedicated e-learning platform to make learning as simple & as accessible as possible (GoogleforIndia Update)
Get at least 6+ Hours of Sleep
Getting a good night’s sleep is a luxury in today’s world.
With some many thoughts keeping us up at night – our regrets, responsibilities, possible opportunities, feelings, self-doubts…man the list is endless.
Our mind is always on the chase & no matter how much we try, sometimes it just doesn’t stop & that is mostly at night.
But here is the thing – a good night’s sleep is a necessity for a happy, healthy, productive life.
When you sleep, it gives time to your brain & body to heal, relax, to charge themselves to take upon new tasks the next day.
And the only way you could give your 10X is if you sleep better…
From my experience & reading tons of books…what I conclude is if you want to be healthy & productive you need to get at least 6 hours of sleep
But the question here is…how to get a night’s sleep
First…. limit your screen time before going to bed.
And I recommend drinking turmeric milk before bed, it works like magic to reduce stress & help you sleep better.
to top it off, you can use an app like yoursapp that has a wide range of bedtime stories & white noises that can help you sleep but most importantly they have these unique yoga & breathing exercises, that help drastically to reduce stress & I’m dam sure you’ll sleep way better using yoursapp
Or you can also make a habit of reading before bed…as I said read at least 20 pages a day
You can mix these two healthy habits together…
I also recommend reading either a physical book or on kindle…not a kindle app
Kindle itself is designed in such a way that it doesn’t emit blue light so it won’t be like screen time before bed
but reading on the kindle app on your phone will just keep you awake more.
So keep that in mind
You can get kindle from here (this is a discount link – applied automatically )
