Remove Tan Naturally At Home
This is one of my favorites, actually in march 2019 we went to Andaman & Nicobar, it was a 2-week vacation, we spent as much as time we can on the beach. Port Blair, Havelock, Ross island we explored everything, had a lot of fun but ended up with bad tan
That is when I used this scrub for 4 weeks & my tan was gone. I didn’t just use the scrub but also a coffee facial which consists of homemade massage cream & a mask.
But today I Will be sharing only the Coffee Scrub Recipe with you & in the next post I will be sharing the Homemade Coffee Facial Remedy because of 2 reasons
The first reason If I post all-Homemade Coffee Scrub, Coffee Massage Cream & mask remedy all together the post will become long
The second & most important reason is that you don’t have to do this skincare routine altogether, the home remedy I’m sharing is a tan removal skincare routine including a scrub, cream & mask but you have to this separately
I used to apply The Coffee Scrub twice a week & then do the facial once a week, when I followed this skincare routine for 4 weeks, I got rid of my tan quite easily
So let’s get started
First, let’s see the things you’ll be needing
DIY Coffee Scrub
Ingredients + Tips
- 2 tbsp of coffee powder (if you can get freshly ground coffee powder, it will work amazingly but as it is lockdown & all. just use the regular coffee powder that you normally use, it will work just fine)
- 2 tbsp of sugar (brown/white whichever is available is fine, but make sure you don’t use powder & the granules are not too big)
- Half lemon
Take a bowl, add coffee powder, sugar to it & then squeeze half a lemon into it. Make sure you are not allergic to lemon, mix it well until it forms a scrub-like texture.
It will be a bit sticky & that is when it is perfect for you.
Before applying this scrub make sure your skin is clean & dry. Now apply the scrub on the tanned area & gently massage it.
This is a really important thing – Please be gentle while massaging, don’t go on rubbing your face harshly, just because you rub it hard doesn’t mean the remedy will work best. If anything when you rub harshly no matter whichever scrub you are using, you’ll irritate your skin, worst damage it
When you scrub too hard, it will be really bad for your skin, so please be gentle
Just scrub your skin, lightly for 3-4 minutes then let it be for 10-15 minutes or until you feel it is getting dry
How To Remove This DIY Scrub
Take a wet tissue or just a hanky & dip a little bit of it in the water, use the wet portion to gently rub & remove the scrub, in this way when you are removing the scrub, you are also removing the dirt, dead skin. It helps to clean your skin better
Once the full scrub is removed, wash off the skin with cold water
Use this scrub twice a week & you’ll see a visible difference. This is one of my favorite home remedies for glowing skin, quick easy effective scrub to remove tan naturally at home. Hope this works for you too
