It is not a secret that Onion is considered as a blessing for hair

Onion is the one ingredient that can make you get rid of hair fall as well as initiate the growth of new hair.

Anyone who is having hair fall problem, hair thinning even facing Bald patches problem can use & be benefitted from it.

Onion is a sure shot remedy for many hair problems but the thing is …how to use it?

Onion can be used as Onion juice, Onion Hair mask, Hair serum, shampoo & Onion hair oil

You can also see that there are many hair products including onion in the market

In coming posts, I will be posting more about onion benefits

In fact, recently I have made Onion hair Oil at home which I will be sharing with you all really soon

But today we will be discussing Super simple home remedy for hair i.e Onion Juice

This can be used by anyone just make sure you aren’t allergic to it

Also, keep in mind that whenever you are doing any home remedy using Onion make sure that you use Red Onions only

As far I know & from my personal Experience Red Onions works wonders for hair so please try to use those only

Now let’s get on with the remedy

Things You Need To Prepare Onion Juice at home

1 Onion

Coconut Oil

Essential Oil of your Choice

How To Make Onion Juice For Hair Growth

Onion Juice is really good for hair especially to control hair fall & to initiate the growth of new baby hair

And it is also super simple to make it at home

Use this one or twice a week & you’ll see the difference

Preparation

To make Onion Juice take 1 red onion, the quantity of onion depends upon your hair

I have medium length hair so I’m 1 big Red Onion

First, wash it off completely (Coronavirus…got to be safe!) now peel off the cover & then you can either grate it or blend it

I prefer blending as it is easy but you can do as you please

Once you get the pulp now we need to get the juice out

Strain the juice from the pulp using a strainer, you can also use cloth if you want

Now if you want you can apply this directly on hair but the scent is too strong & some might not be uncomfortable with this

So Just do this instead,

Take the extracted juice in a bowl & add 2-3 tsp of Coconut Oil to it

And mix it well & then add 3-4 drops of any essential oil

I use Rosemary essential oil, you can choose whichever you like & mix it well

If you don’t have any right now you can skip it

But it will enhance the goodness of oil & also it helps in getting rid of onion smell as many people can’t stand it

Now your onion juice is ready to be applied on your hair.

this is how I like to apply onion juice to my hair

How To apply it correctly –

First, comb your hair so you don’t have any knots.

Then start to apply this juice from the scalp of your hair as our main focus is to get the Goodness of this juice to the root of your hair

Apply the juice to the roots completely & then get down to the ends

After that lightly massage your scalp for 2-3 minutes & tie your hair up

You can use a shower cap or hair towel to cover it

Now let it stay for 30 minutes to 1 hr & then wash it off with lukewarm water.

You can use shampoo after this…To get more effective & faster results I would suggest you use Onion shampoo, They are easily available in markets as well as online.
