The thing that you can use to enhance your skin is Oranges

Yes, Oranges – Their season here & you can get super tasty, fruitful oranges in the market today & that is all you will be needing to make your skin glowing

No. I will not be asking you to apply orange juice or pulp on your face, Oranges are meant to eat, to be enjoyed so do that…Have orange as raw or juice or add some salt & chill powder to it ( that is how I like it). Do whatever you like

For glowing skin, we will be using Orange Peel… Yes, that is correct. For this home remedy, we will be using orange peel

As I said, this remedy will cost you absolutely nothing. You are practically using the scrapes that you usually throw away

Do you know that Orange peels are amazing for the skin? You are literally throwing away thousands of rupees worth of skincare miracle out when you are throwing away oranges peels.

This remedy using Orange peel will give you a result that you’ll get after hours of treatment worth thousands in a parlor.

If you have orange peel powder & if you want to use it then there are many remedies for it which I will share in another post but for this remedy, you have to use fresh orange peels

And the remedy is super simple & all you’ll be needing is the peels of orange

So let’s get started

How To Use Orange Peel For Skin

Before we move ahead, please read this part carefully, there aren’t many ingredients but the procedure is a bit lengthy so stay focused. You won’t regret it promise 🙂

First, you need orange peels, the fresh you get the better. For this remedy, I’m just taking 1 Orange measurement

Take an orange wash it completely now remove the peels.

Take a saucepan to it add around 1 ½ cup of water, when the water turns warm add the orange peels to it & bring it too boil

Keep the flame to medium & let the orange peels boil for 5 minutes or until you can see the water turning to orange & you’ll get an orange smell from the liquid.

Now turn off the flame & let it cool down. Once the liquid is cold or even room temperature

You can start the next process

Add the boil peels along with the liquid to a blender or a mixer grinder & grind it until you get a smooth paster

Once you strain the mixture you’ll get the Orange solution.it is more like a running paste You can also call it a serum

Please Store it in a glass jar Only & don’t use Plastic jars. Plastic will reduce whatever goodness this serum has. The ones I use is similar to these

Now your magical skincare serum is ready to use. You can store this for 1- 2 weeks in the fridge.

Tip:

Please make sure when you are grinding the mixture, it is cold or at least room temperature. If you grind the hot mixture due to friction chances are there that your mixer might blow up which we absolutely don’t want. So always grind the things when they are at room temperature

How To Use This Magical Orange Serum For Glowing Skin

The process to use this serum is a bit tricky please read it correctly

You can do this in your spare time or even before your bath.

Before using this orange serum also called vitamin c serum steam yourself. You can apply this serum to your body as well as a face just make sure to steam the area like your hands, feet, or neck

For steaming your face & neck you can use the steamer that is easily available in local markets or even online or else you can use a small towel, handy, scarf anything & dip it in hot water

Dip it in for 5-10 seconds & now take the cloth out, squeeze out the extra warm & then use that cloth to steam yourself.

You can use this steaming process on your face, neck, hand, feet, back. These are the targeted areas that I personally use this remedy on

After steaming apply a thin layer of this serum. I will strongly recommend you to do a patch test before because it might be not be suited for some people

When you apply this to your body if you feel a bit of a burning sensation just a bit. It is completely normal. As the serum starts its work of removing dirt, dead skin even impurities from your skin you’ll feel a bit of a burning sensation, especially on your face.

As long as it is just a bit & tolerable it is completely ok, But if you feel uncomfortable, please wash it off asap.

This is why I strongly recommend you to do a patch test so that you’ll know if it is suited to your skin or not

Once you apply let it be for 10-15 minutes then you can wash off.

When washing it off, take a cloth & dip it into water lukewarm preferably & then wipe the serum off using the cloth.

If you have done streaming with the help of cloth you can use the same one.

If you are doing this before bath, after washing off you can take bath as usual.

As you know Orange has citrus acid & vitamin C after using the remedy, the skin will be sensitive so I will recommend you to not use any harsh chemicals.

I will recommend you to use this remedy twice or thrice a week also just to be on the safe side. It’s best if you use mild soaps when you are using this remedy.

I personally recommend using herbals soaps during this.

Also after using the remedy I will recommend you to apply some moisture(I use this one you can use whichever you like) or aloe vera gel. It will enhance the result

I can bet you that after the first use itself you’ll see a big difference, you’ll feel your skin is smooth & the dirt or dead skin which was sitting on your skin making it dull & dry is gone.

You’ll be happy to see a clear glowing skin

If you have any acne, pimples mark or any skin with daily use of this serum you’ll find them disappearing

You can also add glycerin to enhance its properties( if you have pimples, acne, or pigmentation.it will help) but honestly, I feel this is enough. I personally use it & I love it.
