What worked for Panchayat Season 3 – Summary and Review
The first and the most obvious brilliant part of this web series is the continuation…
What happens usually is…when a web series is back with the new season even if it is apparently starting from the exact point the last season ended…there would still be some misfits.
Right after the season ends – to the new episode of the new season…
there is usually a lack of connection I have seen it in so many seasons.
For Example – The Rookie... was a power-packed series until season 5 ended…and then they took a gap due to some issues and when season 6 was back…
It was a complete letdown…the characters, story everything felt odd…
the characters once I loved felt odd and pushed…basically it didn’t feel like the show I once loved.
But I’m so happy it is not the case for Panchayat…right from the first episode of Pancahyat Season 3 you’ll be hooked,
The story takes off right from where it ended…and the transaction is too smooth.
Every character is just like before if not better…
It doesn’t feel like I’m watching a new season, it felt like it was just a new episode.
That is how in-sink the whole story is.
The First episode is itself power-packed….the way our trio Pradhan Ji, Prahalad, and Vikas…take care of the new Sachiv is really well executed.
It was fun yet realistic…not overly done and man there is one scene right in the first episode that would break your heart and win your heart at the same moment.
I love it…
I so don’t wanna spoil that scene for you…because trust me it hits so hard…that was one well-executed scene.
Once the Sachivji is back…things start to fall back in place but at the same time, the Village politics come into play.
For some people who are only looking for entertainment some scenes might feel like a drag but as the story unfolds you’ll just fall in love with the story.
Later on how they handle politics and how they handle Vidhayak is a really interesting and well-written track…I really enjoyed it.
Things to look forward
Do you remember Our special Dulha in the 1st season …well he is back and he might irritate you in some earlier scenes but by the end, you’ll like his character for sure.
There is one fight scene at the last and that was the show-stealer moment for me…
it was so amazingly executed and well written off and not to forget so satisfying to watch…I was actually rooting for them.
It was probably the best part of the entire season for me…I loved it.
Also, some scenes could be tear-jerkers for you…just a heads-up
The Man of The Show
For this season I would say Prahalad was the winner for me.
Every scene was a power-packed performance…
no matter how important or a filler scene it was…he was on top of his game and I so wish they get the recognition they deserve,
The actor Faisal Malik who plays the character of Prahlad…I so wanna root for him.
He has portrayed the character of the grieving father so well…It is a treat to watch him.
I don’t think I have ever loved a supporting character as much as I’ve loved him in Panchayat Season 3.
Seriously every character no matter how big or small their roles are they have put in their hearts and souls
but the character Prahalad…stood out the most for me.
Apart from that, I guess this is that one web series that no matter how many seasons they have…
you can be sure that they would never compromise with the story.
Seriously another masterpiece from TVF
What didn’t work FOR ME?
Most of you can skip this part because what I felt wasn’t needed, was loved by many people which is evident on Twitter so this might not be relevant but I just wanted to put it out there.
I don’t wanna say this is a con or something that was a let down..but it was a track that wasn’t needed…
something that I particularly couldn’t come to love that much…and that is
Sachivji and Rinki’s love story and Rinki preparing for an MBA.
I know Sachivji and Rinki was the end game and it was a slow-burn love story but still…
I could do without it but still, it is kinda cute…so nothing with it
But Rinki preparing for an MBA…that was a track I could’ve been ok without.
Of course, If she was passionate and wanna do it for herself then that would’ve been a great track to watch…
but this just felt like a filler.
Anyway TBH I’m absolutely ok with it…with the quality of the story and performance I can gladly overlook these side tracks…
honestly, Panchayat Season 3 is a must-watch…and If you are still on the fence…just go ahead.
It is worth your time…
