Now you know all the ingredients that we will need to make this miracle hair oil, Let’s get started with preparing it
How To Make Miracle Hair Oil That Promotes Hair Growth
Before making this hair oil, there is some preparation. Let’s check it out first
If you are using fresh aloe vera gel
Take the aloe vera, wash it off completely, remove the yellow part & thorns. Now cut the Aloe vera into small pieces. Don’t remove the skin
I’m taking a whole long aloe vera leaf. You can change the quantity according to the size of the leaf
If you are using packed aloe vera gel take approximately 3 tbsp of aloe vera gel
As you know we are using raw amla for this hair oil. here first you need to wash the amla correctly, then wipe it off using a kitchen towel. then you have to grate the amla. We will be using this grated amla for our homemade hair oil
You can cut it into small pieces as well but I recommend grating because it gets mixed with oil easily.
How To Prepare The Hair Oil
To make this hair oil take a saucepan, add 150 ML of coconut oil to it. When oil turns a bit warm add castor oil to it & Then add Fenugreek Seeds & Flax Seeds to it. Then add aloe vera gel, grated amla & curry leaves to it.
Make sure to keep the flame on low.
If you keep the flame high, the ingredients will get burned & so is its goodness.
Keep the flame low & stir the oil occasionally. You have to heat the oil until the color of the oil changes & you’ll also get a strong fragrance when the oil is done.
It will take around 10-15 minutes on low flame. Keep stirring so that the seeds or the leaves aren’t burnt. Also slowly press aloe vera pieces when you are stirring so that gel gets released completely in the oil.
When the oil is heating you’ll see some foam, you don’t need to worry. It is just an indication that the aloe vera is mixing with the oil
When you see the oil color has changed, you can turn off the flame.
Don’t touch it when it is still oil. Just let it rest & when the oil is cooled down to room temperature. You can strain it & transfer it to a glass jar or glass bottle.
Now your oil is ready
Shelf Life Of This Hair Oil
I keep saying this again & again, store it in a glass container only.
It will increase its shelf life & also keep its goodness intact.
The shelf life of this hair oil i.e The hair oil is good for almost 6 months. If you use it even after 6 months there won’t be any side effects but it won’t be really helpful as well.
How To Apply This Hair Oil,
You can use this hair oil twice or thrice a week. You can use this hair oil on the day you are gonna have a head bath. Just apply the oil from root to tips & gently massage your hair. Then cover it with a shower cap & let it be for 1-2 hours & then you can wash it off & shampoo as usual
Or If you want you can apply it a day before & keep it overnight. That is what I do. I apply the oil one day before I’m planning to take a head bath.
I oil my hair & massage it for some time, Then I tie it up & cover it with a shower cap & go to sleep. The next morning I wash it off & shampoo my hair as usual.
Trust me just from the first use itself you’ll see the difference, Your hair will feel extra smooth & shiny. After using for some weeks you’ll see that there is a decrease in hair fall & probably some new hair growth as well
So what are you waiting for try this out asap & let me know
If you can’t find fenugreek seeds, flax seeds, curry leaves in their raw form. you can use their powder as well but make sure to use fresh amla for this hair oil.
