Healthy Cucumber Salad Recipe
Hey Guys, as promised I’m here with a summer special salad recipe that is super healthy & tasty
Honestly, This Salad Isn’t just a summer salad, It is a healthy salad that you can have any time of the year.
Trust me you’ll love this, this is one of my favorite salad that I have been having since I was in school
This is one of my favorite food, I have survived on this so many times, had this for breakfast, lunch & dinner. Sometimes when I’m super busy I survive the whole day on this (don’t do it. )
The salad is full of nutrition, there is no oil & it is super simple, anyone can make this & almost everything is readily available in your home
Today I’m sharing with you two recipes of cucumber salad, one which is super tasty & second one is how I make it
These are no flame recipes, just simple cooking, These are more like those 5-minute Recipes
So Let’s Get Started
Healthy Cucumber Salad Recipe For Weight Loss
Ingredients You’ll Be Needing
(adjust the quantities according to your liking & no of people you are goona serve)
Cucumber 2
1 Small Onion
1 Tomato (don’t use too ripped ones)
A handful of Coriander leaves
½ tsp of chat masala
¼ tsp of roasted jeera powder
Salt according to taste (Himalayan salt/black salt preferred)
1 lemon
1 tsp of red chilly powder (add this according to your taste)
How To Make Cucumber salad
First, wash all the ingredients like Cucumber, tomato, Coriander then take cucumber & peel off its skin, then cut it into small pieces (tip: better to use a chopper for this, as it is easy & less time consuming)
I love taking the peel off but if you want you can keep it
Then take onion & tomato & cut them into small fine pieces as well
Now take a salad bowl – add cucumber, onion & tomato to it. To this add finely chopped coriander leaves, lemon ( I use the whole lemon but if don’t want you can use just ½ lemon as well)
Now add the spices like Jeera powder, black salt, red chilly powder, chat masala & mix it correctly
There you have it. Your super simple, easy & tasty cucumber salad is ready
This is quite tasty & fulfilling if you are going on a diet or starting your weight loss journey. You can definitely include this in your diet plan. My Family Loves this Salad
Important Tip:
please take a bite of your cucumber before you make this salad, If your cucumber ends up being bitter the whole dish is going to be a disaster & your effort will go into the drain. So make sure to taste your cucumber before making this salad.
Also, don’t use white onions for this salad. Yes, I know white onions are really healthy but they definitely don’t go well with this salad.
Healthy Cucumber Salad Second Recipe
This recipe is how I love to eat it. I like it simple & spicy. It hardly takes 10 minutes to make it & almost everything will be present in your kitchen. So let’s get started
Things You’ll need to make Cucumber Salad
(adjust the quantities according to your liking & no of people you are goona serve)
Cucumber1
1 Onion
Coriander Leaves
Chill Powder (adjust the quantity according to you. I love this spicy)
1 Lemon
Himalayan Salt
How To Make Simple Cucumber Salad
Take the cucumber & peel off its skin, now chop them in fine pieces. Take onion & chop them in fine pieces as well. Now add these two in a bowl, add freshly chopped coriander leaves, squeeze ½ lemon in it, now add salt & chilly powder & mix it well
There your tasty Cucumber Onion Salad Is ready, you can also call it Cucumber chat because it is tasty & spicy.
